Coach Meg
Coach Meg began playing softball at age five and continued through her sophomore year of high school. She loved the game, but difficult coaching experiences caused her to step away—until nearly a decade later, when softball unexpectedly returned to her life, and she realized her true calling was coaching.
Since then, Meg has coached multiple teams, hosted camps and clinics in Palo Alto, California, and, after moving back to Tampa in the summer of 2024, led a women-led travel team for over a year. These experiences inspired her to create Phoenix Legacy Fastpitch, a women-led organization dedicated to developing confident, skilled athletes in a positive, supportive environment.
Meg’s coaching philosophy emphasizes not only fundamentals, game awareness, and mental toughness, but also building meaningful, lasting connections with her players—connections that continue long after they’re no longer on her team. Her mission is to help athletes grow on the field and become strong, confident young women who carry the lessons of softball into every part of their lives.
